Chelsea Castle
6x Content leader, strategist, editor, writer
I wrote my first book when I was eight years old.
Thirty-some pages stapled together with a dog-archaeologist (the irony is not lost on me) protagonist, sponsored by Crayola. A real page-turner.
I've been passionate about writing since I was old enough to grip a crayon. I spent the better part of my childhood writing on everything—walls, dressers, inanimate objects, rocks, you name it. My intense curiosity inspired the copious stories I’d make up about the strangers who would pass by in cars (you know, before kids had iPads). And for Christmas, family members already knew the gift they’d receive from me—a personalized story, stapled together, sponsored by Crayola.
I adore words and the process of stringing them together into something beautiful for many purposes. Often, that purpose is to serve my vulnerability and share what I have to say. And most often, I love when that purpose is using words to make a difference for an organization—to tell your story, help your customers, drive results, and make a difference. Ultimately, I’m driven by authentic intentions—any social good and genuine human impact my work may create.
I currently lead brand and content marketing at Close, a powerful CRM for small, scaling businesses.
When I’m not writing or working, I enjoy spending time outside, riding my bike around Nashville, reading, experimenting with new plant-based recipes, and spending time with my husband, daughter, and cat.
Say hello!
